1989 was an important turning point for us as we started producing our first trekking backpacks.
We changed our logo slightly by inserting a triangle in the background: a symbolic representation of a mountain.
Our first models were the Explorer, Climbing and Extreme.
These possessed innovative shapes along with the first technologies developed especially for mountain backpacks, but keeping the colours and style of the products of the early years.
It was at this time that Marsupio also began to participate in the major sector Trade Fairs, such as MIAS in Milan.
In 1992, we shifted production of our backpacks abroad for market needs, but continued to maintain total control of all aspects of style and material selection.
